Reddit user finally allowed to remain anonymous after court decision  : A Reddit client who confronted a legitimate battle to uncover their personality has been permitted to remain unknown, a court has ruled.

The client, who posts with the name "Darkspilver," was spoken to by the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), and was concerned the disclosure of his personality would put him in danger of being cut off from loved ones.

For the situation, "Darkspilver" picked the male pen name "Doe," in spite of the fact that their sexual orientation stays undisclosed.

"Darkspilver" had been an individual from the Jehovah's Witnesses for as long as he can remember, and was posting his worries on a subreddit for ex-individuals from the association. He posted secretly, as so to enable him to stand up without dread of striking back.

These posts incorporated a commercial requesting gifts distributed on the back of The Watchtower magazine, to demonstrate how it spoke to "real transforms from the lessons and practices the association had ... embraced previously."

Another post incorporated an outline of the data put away and prepared by the Jehovah's Witnesses association. "Darkspilver" had himself made the picture, worried about data the gathering was gathering and erasing.

Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania, the lawful substance of the Jehovah's Witnesses gathering, recorded a subpoena against Reddit in January to uncover the character of "Darkspilver," proclaiming that it expected to do as such to seek after a copyright guarantee against him.

The association contended the posting of the notice had caused hurt by coordinating individuals from the gift site.
