Apple has made another valuable contribution to pandemic mitigation efforts by being able to easily search for coronavirus test centers on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac. Learn how to find COVID-19 test sites on Apple Maps.

Apple contributes to the mitigation of COVID-19 from many different angles, including financial aid, the creation, and donation of face masks, the supply of masks, the creation of contact tracking software with Google, etc.

The latest useful contribution from Apple sees data from the COVID-19 test site readily available on Apple Maps in the United States and Puerto Rico by placing the test sites directly on the map and a prominent button on Apple Map Search.

Apple Maps: How to find COVID-19 testing locations on iPhone, iPad, and Mac

  1. If you haven't been tested yet, this can be a good step before the test. Learn more about how to get a COVID-19 analysis for free via the Apple app here
  2. Open the Apple Maps app on your iPhone, iPad or Mac
  3. Tap or click the search bar
  4. Click on the option "Test COVID-19" in the section "Search nearby" (on a Mac, type "COVID" in the search bar and choose the best suggestion)
  5. Choose a results site to see more details
  6. At the bottom of the "COVID-19 test site" box, you can click on the "More information" link for more details on the test site.
