Last week, Capcom announced that it would keep a trailer for Resident Evil Village, the eighth major installment in the horror film series.

Included with the advertisement was a humming reel that showed some excerpts from the Pottery Village and the debut of the Vampire Lady. Understandably, this new character has taken the internet by storm, featuring countless memes.

With today's show came a new trailer where we learned that her name is Lady Dimitrisko, that something has escaped while he is in her castle, and that she is a mother of girls who can turn into swarms of insects.

It's hard to say at the moment, but based on Ethan's encounters with her, it appears that Lady of the Castle is another (big) bad thing from Resident Evil.

Check out the new Resident Evil Village trailer below ... (Warning: Longtime vampires were not harmed while making this trailer.)

Overall, this trailer does a lot to show you how visually amazing this 8th game is ... in everything it's done to kill you, in a gothic way. On top of that, they really add to the horror factor by using medieval shadows and zombies. Add the villain (?) / Extra character at the end and Resident Evil Village looks like hell from an entrance.

Resident Evil Village will be released on May 7, 2021, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, and Steam. Players who purchase the game on PS4 and XB1 will be able to upgrade to next-gen consoles for free.

As an added bonus, PS5 owners can try the game out today. However, this only works as a preview of the general sights and sounds of the game. Players will play The Maiden as they will only have to rely on their wits to escape in this tense demo, as they will have no means of fighting or defending themselves
